During a conversation Saravanan says to Meenakshi that nobody can separate them hereafter, meanwhile he receives phone call from Yamini and he attends the phone. Yamini is very romantic and she tells him that she misses him a lot and she says that she loves him so much and kisses him. Saravanan is helpless and he pretends to Meenakshi as if he is talking to his colleague officially. Next day after a ritual for Aachi, Vaidhyanathan presents a gold ring and chain as Aachi's gift to Saravanan and Meenakshi respectively. Later Saravanan starts to Chennai and while bidding bye to Meenakshi, he asks her whether she would cry after he leaves. Meenakshi replies that she won't cry and Saravanan is a little disappointed and he challenges to Meenakshi that she would cry after he leaves. Meenakshi accepts his challenge and says him that she will be bold enough to manage his absence. After Saravanan leaves, Meenakshi feels that she is missing him a lot and she feels like crying but she controls herself. But Saravanan visits her again and he cries and says that he misses her a lot. They both cry and express their love.
