Daddaji suspects that Naitik is hiding something important from him. Nandini asks Mohit for money to buy a gift for her friend's wedding. Mohit sees Nandini saving money in a piggy bank and question her. Naitik hauls buckets of water to store up in the kitchen and bathrooms. His family is dismayed to see him strain himself to store water. Rajshri's family goes through the photographs from Ananya's birthday party. Dadi asks Varsha to make an album of Akshara's in-laws and send it to her. Anshu tells Dadi that he will mail the album to Naitik through the internet. Naitik is worried about the expense when a panditji asks his family to hand out gold and silver coins along with money for the puja, to prevent any bad incident from occurring in the new house.
